After completing my research, my next step was to come with my banking values and names. The most effective way for me to do this, is to brainstorm on Miro using a mind map.
I explored various banking values by branching out from each, to relate the words to banking and the importance they are to the app. The five values I selected are: Integrity, Ethics, Confidentiality, Security and Loyalty. I am unsure if these will be my final values or if I will come to it later and change some of them. I am only in the early stages of this app, so I’m not certain what all the moral values of my app will be.
I decided to change three of my values in week 7 when I was creating my style tile, it helped me to see which values could be seen from gathering all the material I had created over the weeks.
I want my app to have easy access by being accessible to everyone, by having easy to use features and simple navigation because young people need to be able to track their money while on-the-go.
Since my target audience is aimed at people who are in or just finished education or maybe need educating on how to save effectively, this is an important values in my app.
This generation are always looking for modern ways of doing something, so I want to include innovative features that may not be already in their current banking app. This will enable them to move forward with their saving goals and have no barriers in the way.
It is vital value that everyone will want knowing that their money in secure. Without this, you can’t create trust with the brand and in turn the brand won’t have a very good reputation.
