These are various sketches I explored before creating some of them on Illustrator. I decided to go with a turtle shape over a word, as I can use it along the word, creating an emphasis on the meaning behind the word.
I explored various options before coming up with my chosen logo mark, wanting to use the colours of my wordmark, and come up with a logo that represents my name well. It ended up taking me a while to think of turtle shapes that are simple and effective but I think I did well in the end.
To make sure the shell looks secure and similar to my wordmark, by rounding the appendages that are less dominant. After careful consideration, I put my name alongside the turtle shape with a rounded rectangle surrounding it, to emphasis the components and reinforce security and protection.
I found this colour palette while considering what shades of green to pick for my brand. I was leaning towards a more vibrant green against a darker green to be suited for a younger audience.
I used Adobe Colour for inspiration to find similar shades of green that I wanted to use. This was a good reference for me, to find the correct shades using the colour wheel.
These are my chosen colours for my brand identity, the darkest and lightest green are my primary colours, and the other two are my secondary colours. The darker green represent structure and growth. Whereas, the lighter green shows energy and youthful. They both contrast well with each other and can be reversible to allow for possibilities in my applications. The other two colours are more toned down in colour and can be shown in backgrounds. They reflect the colours of the sea, where turtles are found representation of the bank brand is home to your money.
