To start this project, we were told to create a mood board of various dashboards to give us some inspiration.

I like how each of these dashboards use a consistent colour palette, that allows you to highlight different aspects of the visualisation, and to show a contrast between certain parts. I think you can recognise any trends that occurs in the data, without colour this would be hard to distinguish.
I noticed the consistency in style throughout each dashboard is evident, keeping the same design in the entire screen. In my opinion, for the viewers the navigation will be effortless because it’s straightforward.
They are laid out in a way that’s easily read and can be understood, showing a visual hierarchy. I think by including things such as: labels and headings into dashboards, allows the viewers to know what data is being displayed.
The typography used in every dashboard here is very legible, a clear typography hierarchy can be seen throughout. It gives a good indication the most important information is the largest and the less important information is smaller.
Over the last week, we were given the time to record the data we would like to put into my dashboard. I obtained most of my data from my Health App on my phone. I got my Screen time from the settings on my phone. I used Google Maps to work out the distance travelled and my banking app for the money spend/earned for the week.
