Overall, I was proud of how I delivered my presentation because I find public speaking very hard. Although, I was very nervous at the start, once I done the first slide my nerves began to ease.
The feedback I received was really positive, they said my idea and brand really strong. Also, I made good eye contact throughout the pitch. The only piece of advice they gave me was projecting my voice, this is something I struggle with when speaking to a group of people and I will continue to work on this.
As well, Ronan mentioned I was reading off the slides a lot. In my opinion I was glancing at them but knew the content well, as I practiced it a lot beforehand. He suggested explaining the slides in my own words, instead of saying it exactly how it’s wrote, which I agree with and I’d do that in future presentations.
Lastly, Kyle said he would’ve liked me to talk more about how the app would work or explain the user journey of using the app itself. This is something I would’ve spoke about if I had more time to work on the idea, but I think it was more important to show more statistics (which they appreciated) and the problem statement.
