As a designer, content design has shown me the importance of putting the user's needs first. It’s about using data to create content that matches what the audience wants, when they need it, and in a way they expect. I've realised that great design goes beyond visuals, it's about delivering clear, relevant information at the right moment, ensuring a seamless user experience.
We were asked to write down 3 user need statements based on our research gathers, and suggest what type of content would help the user achieve their goal.
I found this exercise valuable for getting into the mindset of the user group. It helped me consider the best solution for each user’s unique needs and preferences.

As a designer, this article provides valuable insights into how users interact with web content, which directly influences my design approach. The findings reinforce the importance of creating designs that prioritise scalability, given that users rarely read content linearly. This aligns with my approach to structuring pages: using clear headings, concise bullet points, and bold text to highlight key information.
