In my opinion, I think this was my strongest presentation so far, as I remembered all the content I needed to say without having to rely too much on my slides. I didn’t feel as nervous as I have in previous presentations and felt more confident in what I was saying. I was also happy that I managed to keep within the five minute time limit, while still getting all my main points across. The main reason I found this presentation easier, was probably because I was very familiar with the research and had a good background on the topic. It is also an area that I am passionate about and something that is close to my heart, which made it easier for me to talk about and share my knowledge with others. I think having a genuine interest in the subject made a big difference, as I felt more comfortable speaking about it and didn't have to use my slides that much. I think I tend to overthink presentations beforehand, which can make me more nervous than I need to be. I was actually glad that I didn't know exactly when it was my turn, as when I was called up, meaning I didn't have much time to work myself up or get overly nervous. I preferred being second to present, as I would rather get it over with than waiting around thinking about it. I think this helped me feel more relaxed and made the presenting easier. We didn’t receive any feedback yet, but we will be discussing any pivots in the project in our tutorial next week. I have been assigned Daniel for my supervisor.
